Here, you can find the game rules and guidelines for Aeklata. These are here to keep everything in order and make sure it's a safe and friendly game for anyone. These must be carefully read and followed whenever in game. If found broken, action will be taken.
_________________________________________________
Appropriate Language & Behavior
This game is based upon a certain age group. There are many players which have different situations and such. Swearing in chats and around the game is not allowed. The staff work hard to make this safe place for everyone! Behavior should be appropriate. Mating wise, should be done elsewhere, or not even in-game. If found swearing, or sexual actions being done in public maps, you will either be banned upon notice for a certain amount of time, or warned.
You have to be 13 or older to play
You must be the age of 13 years or older to join the forums and play Aeklata. However, beyond physical age, we believe you should be judged on your mental age. So if you cannot handle swearing, some blood and horror elements or anything else related - please refrain from joining or playing the game.
Respect Eachother
Aeklata is a friendly community all around! We will not tolerate harassment, bullying, or any mean words towards another member or staff. Upon notice, you will either be banned or warned. A variety of users play this game, and everybody is to be treated with respect, as we are all human and we all have feelings no matter what. If it gets bad enough, block the user, and PM staff, and we will help you to the best of our ability.
No Map Claiming
The public maps in Aeklata are available for everyone to play on. This means, you cannot under any circumstances claim a publicly made map. This would not be fair, and is against our rules. You will be warned at first; then kicked or banned from the game if ignored.
Behaving In Chat
The public chatter of Aeklata is a safe, fun place to role-play and talk with friends. It is not to be abused, spammed, or any other matter. If done, after a warning, you will be either kicked or banned depending on the severity of the case.
Impersonating Staff
If a user has been seen with a few letters off of the staff, or acting as one within the game, action will be taken. This can mean, a warning or a ban, to a deletion of your account. the staff are here making the game a safe place, and working hard daily. We will not tolerate this in our community whatsoever. This also goes for mini-modding which is not allowed.
No Mini-Modding
Mini modding is not allowed. If someone is breaking the rules, report them immediately to a staff member here. You can report forum posts by scrolling to the top of the post, finding the small button with a gear on it, clicking it and selecting "Report Post."
In-game reporting can be found here!
Appropriate Usernames & Character Names
Within Aeklata, every username and character needs to be kept to an appropriate level. Again, there are different types of users online, and respect should be thought of. Your account may be removed, or you could be banned when noticing these things. Your username/character name is a big part of the Aeklata game/community and how you're know.
Respect the Staff & Their Actions
The staff of Aeklata work hard daily to help you along, and make sure the game is safe. If a staff member asks a player to stop what they're doing, or listen to their words they must. The staffs words are law, and they must be followed in and out of the game. Disrespect is not tolerated at all. If action must be taken towards this offense, the staff will take no time to do so.
Bans & Reports
Discussions of a ban or report, will not be allowed in or out of game. If complained about an action by a staff member, moaning about it in public chat, or a post to seek attention; action will happen against it. If you indeed are unhappy with a staffs action to ban you, this should not be done publicly, but, in a PM to an Administrator here at Aeklata. If needed, a staff could ban, warn, or kick you from the game if given a problem about being banned. We do these things for a good cause.
Do NOT beg moderators to item drop
Users in-game are not by any means allowed to beg moderators to drop items. This is strictly forbidden as moderators all encourage members to collect their own, staff will not abuse their powers. If found dropping items, outside of an event or such, moderators will be punished. Drops are only to be done on special events.
NO Hacking
Under no circumstances are users allowed or permitted to hack Aeklata. If found hacked, the punishment is a complete ban, and block from the forum AND game. There will be serious consequences.
Copying Characters
If you like someones character, and wish to look like them; make sure to ASK if its alright before making a similar character. It wouldn't be fair to the person you stole the design from. If found stolen and not asked, you will be asked to change the design immediately.
You are allowed ONE account with up to 10 characters
This isn't something that is allowed at Aeklata. (It's also a limitation) Staff cannot keep track of multiple accounts and if found having more than one action will be taken. If the staff believes a user is in possession of too many accounts, some of them might be deleted without any warning.
Forum & Game Usernames MUST match
Make sure your forum username and game usernames match. This way we know you have a forum account if you’re playing the game. This is important so that we can contact you at any time via the forums if necessary. If you do not contact a staff member before a staff member contacts you about mismatching usernames, you will receive a warning.
These game rules are here to be followed and respected, and you've agreed to these by registering on our site and creating an account. If you are caught breaking any of these, risks are that you will lose your privilege to play the game. If you by any chance need help understanding these rules, or just want some extra information, feel free to ask the staff team. Thanks for reading!
